USDA FUNDING

The U.S. Dept of Agriculture has several USDA Funding programs and resources that are available to support companies and projects in renewable energy, the bioeconomy and energy efficiency.  These include USDA Biomass Research and Development Initiative (BRDI) Program, USDA Agriculture Research Service (ARS )Advanced Bioenergy and Bioproducts, USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture,  USDA Rural Energy For America Program (REAP), USDA Business and Industry (B&I) Program (for commercially proven technologies), USDA Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical, and Biobased Product Manufacturing Assistance Program  (Section 9003) ,  USDA Community Facilities Program, and the USDA Agriculture Research Service (ARS) Office of Technology Transfer (OTT).

In addition, there are Dept of Energy programs and many other programs like the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program, Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program, National Science Foundation I-Corp Program (ICAP) and the Small Business Administration.
