Jason has spent his 25-year career building new teams, developing partnerships, and growing businesses across the US, Asia, Europe, and South America.  He has developed business and relationships in banking, energy, retail, financial technology, health care, and private equity across the globe.

Prior to joining Lee Enterprises Consulting, Jason advised the Board and CEO of a Swiss medical device company on venture funding negotiations and developed the commercial strategy to successfully launch products in 45 countries.

As Chief Marketing Officer for GE Capital Greater China, Jason directed marketing, strategy, partnership, public relations, and branding covering Digital Imaging and Diagnostic, Aircraft, Industrial, and Energy Equipment Lending exceeding $500m.  His team led the successful negotiation and formation of a $100m joint venture with the world’s largest power company – State Grid.  As CMO he also served on the Commercial Excellence Council for GE Corporation.  Jason was the Board Supervisor and Managing Director for the GE Management and Technology Consulting Company (GEMTC) providing consulting services for operations management and financial technology in banking.

Jason was Managing Director for GE Capital’s global relationship with Walmart leading a team of 11 in-country managers in Argentina, Brazil, Puerto Rico, UK, Canada, China, India, and Japan.  Under his leadership assets increased by $1bn in18 months.

As employee number one, Jason was the Director of a 60-person cross-functional team covering Risk, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to launch the first co-branded credit card in China. He negotiated with Shenzhen Development Bank and Newbridge Capital to form a financial services partnership. He oversaw multiple financial and operational systems integrations and a greenfield build of a 450-seat bank operations center to service and underwrite over 1m new cardholders in the first year. The program received the “Excellence in Marketing Award” from the Hong Kong Management Association & China Economic Observer for its unique value proposition & innovation in sales and e-payment channels.
