Fernando has 42 years of professional experience. During this time he has held positions such as Technical Sales Manager, Director of Technical Services, Vice President of Sales, and Global Vice President of Business Development with Kemin Industries. During his tenure, Fernando developed, scaled up, and launched more than ten products in the dairy, beef, swine, and poultry industries.

Fernando holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science from the University of Florida, a Master’s degree in Dairy Science from Oklahoma State University, a Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Washington State University, and a Post-Doctoral degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota.
