Luke earned his B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University, has been an environmental consultant since 1998, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Minnesota. He has worked for a variety of industries including, but not limited to, biofuels, electric power generation, vegetable oil production, manufacturing, wastewater treatment, landfill gas-to-energy, and waste-to-energy facilities. As a Senior Project Manager, for our strategic partner, Stantec (formerly Wenck), Luke specializes in air quality permitting, environmental compliance, technical negotiations for state and federal enforcement actions, auditing, environmental site permitting, as well as managing projects with environmental review and human health risk assessments. His compliance experience includes managing multimedia environmental, health & safety compliance and permitting projects and training initiatives for industrial clients by coordinating work with multidisciplinary teams. Luke leads a world-class team of environmental, health & safety project managers and experts within Stantec, where he champions a comprehensive knowledge of state and federal environmental, health and safety laws and regulations to provide risk management solutions and ISO management system programs supporting facilities during design, construction, expansion, and operation.
