Gustav has spent the last 17 years working in commercial roles across industry and technology. After developing data-driven businesses at Google, Gustav became an entrepreneur focused on climate technology. Identifying an opportunity to commercialize deep tech companies within climate, he set up Mogambo, an investment and development company with a global mandate. Through Mogambo, Gustav became an investor and active part of the management team in a carbon capture to chemicals business. Following the model of decarbonizing heavy industry, Gustav founded an RNG to green steam company in Holland. As the founder, Gustav was responsible for bringing all relevant stakeholders together and eventually delivering an exit to the host site. Building on Mogambo’s mission to deliver clean food, water and power to the world, Gustav became Chief Commercial Officer of Vertical Future, a vertical farming company in London. There, he was responsible for driving the company out of R&D mode and into commercial operations. After building the team and delivering a 10x uplift in contracted revenue, Gustav left to build Foundation Partners.
