Joel has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and over 40 years of experience in technical and senior management positions with companies such as Union Carbide and Amoco.  He has worked in Research & Development, Product Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions, in the fields of specialty chemicals, advanced carbon fiber composites, biotechnology, membrane filtration & and purification, water treatment, and formulated products.  Joel has served as a visiting research scholar at the Rochester Institute of Technology, has authored numerous publications, and holds several patents.
