Mark J. Riedy is a Partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP in Washington, DC, and chairs its Energy, Project Finance & Clean Technologies Practice of more than 80 attorneys.

For more than 40 years, he has focused his practice on complex project development and finance, private placement, M&A, investment fund structuring and related investments, and regulatory and legislative compliance representation in more than 60 countries worldwide for renewable and conventional energy and chemicals, clean energy technology, energy storage, data center, environmental and infrastructure clients. His clients represent developers, bondholders, lenders, EPCs, O&Ms, equipment providers, private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure funds.

Mr. Riedy received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with a B.A. He has received numerous awards over his career including Biofuels Digest as a Top 100 World Bioenergy Leader (#42 in 2015-2017, #49 in 2014-2015, #56 in 2013-2014, #50 in 2012-2013 and #67 in 2011-2012), Legal Leaders as one of “Washington, D.C. & Baltimore’s Top Rated Lawyers” for Business and Commercial Law (2011-2017) and Martindale-Hubbell* as an AV® Preeminent™ rated attorney (past 25 years).
