Bill is a renewable energy executive with over 25 years of leadership experience building teams in international, remote, and start-up environments. He has spent the last several years developing utility-scale manure-based and co-digestion anaerobic digester facilities on the East Coast and in the Midwest United States. As a certified Project Management Professional, Bill has guided projects through a gated development process from initiation, site selection, feedstock acquisition, initial design, and into permitting and pre-construction. He has built critical relationships with federal, state, and local elected officials and engaged with public stakeholders to generate project support. Bill has presented at several conferences and has advocated for the biogas industry as an active Policy Committee member for the American Biogas Council, the Renewable Thermal Collaborative, and as a member of the RNG Coalition Renewable Gas Advisory Board.
Bill is also a 20-year Navy veteran, having served in several international postings, including flying roles in NATO and the Royal Air Force (UK). As an Olmsted Scholar, he pursued graduate studies in Istanbul, Turkey, and he holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.
