Dr. Aminu Owonikoko has a diverse academic and professional background. He has held a lecturing role in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and holds a PhD and an MPhil in Mechanical Engineering from Australia and the United Kingdom, respectively. He also earned an MSc in Process Technology and Business Management from the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) in the UK, and a Bachelor of Technology in Food Engineering from Nigeria.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Owonikoko has gained international work experience across the United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and the USA. His approach to project and program management encompasses identification, selection, acquisition, exploitation, and protection. He maintains high standards of integrity and delivers clear, evidence-based work programs in international operations management and strategy.
His focus areas include de-risking technologies, decarbonisation, sustainable manufacturing, and circular economy innovation. He also explores the interface of these fields with regulated electronics and digital technologies, including automation and robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), the industrial internet of things (IIoT) with sensors, blockchain, cloud computing, and big data.
