With a BSc in Biotechnology from Manipal University and an MRes in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, Prithvi has worked with pharmaceutical and innovative technology companies in the UK and Singapore. Given her expertise in R&D, MSAT, and commercial manufacturing of novel products such as oncolytic virotherapy and cultivated meats, Prithvi serves as a subject matter expert to assist companies in achieving scale and in the commercialization of products. She has worked on projects with multiple research and industrial organizations such as the University of Oxford, Akamis Bio, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Replimune, Shiok Meats, and Gaia Foods.
From her role as MSAT Scientist working on adenoviral vectors to Head of Process Engineering working on cultivated meat & alternative proteins, her experience in the ‘start-up’ cultures and economics is pivotal to her advisory role in technical due diligence, fundraising, and strategic planning. She has worked on on-site evaluations of the design, setup, and operation of GMP and GLP manufacturing facilities. Prithvi has represented multiple companies on tech transfer and facilitation of CDMO/CRO services worldwide. Her credentials from the University of Adelaide in project management and her work experience give her the foundation to advise clients in budgetary planning, technology evaluation, techno-economic analysis, and project management.
