Dr. Srinivas Jayanthi is a highly accomplished Regulatory & Scientific Management Consultant and Lead Assessor/Auditor with over 15 years of extensive experience spanning academia and industry. His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of chemical and life sciences, including analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, microbiology, and molecular biology.
Dr. Jayanthi boasts a robust publication record, having authored more than 25 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals and holding several patents. His deep understanding of dietary supplement/nutraceutical manufacturing and product development along with product testing, method development and validation has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining rigorous scientific standards. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the successful establishment of an independent ISO 17025 accredited third-party testing laboratory.
His proven ability to train scientists and technicians, coupled with his proficiency in implementing analytical test methods, has significantly contributed to the routine chemical and microbiological testing of dietary supplements and ingredients. Dr. Jayanthi’s strong acumen in QA/QC activities has enabled him to develop and implement robust quality management systems.
Dr. Jayanthi possesses in-depth knowledge of cGMP processes within dietary supplement manufacturing and actively participates in NSF joint committees and task forces involved in the development of standards such as the “NSF/ANSI GRMA 455-2 cGMP Standard for Dietary Supplements.” His comprehensive expertise and commitment to quality make him a highly valued consultant and assessor in the regulated industries.
Dr. Jayanthi also offers customized solutions for setting up ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited testing laboratories serving the pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, food, feed, and other relevant industries. He has also earned CLIA Lab Director Certification, allowing him to assess medical laboratories to the ISO 15189 standard, and has received training in the ISO 17043 standard for evaluating proficiency testing providers.
