Peter has a Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering and an MBA and has worked in the Chemical Industry for over thirty (30) years. Based in the Netherlands, Peter’s global work experience covers companies like Shell, CPC, Gist Brocades (now DSM), AkzoNobel, and Nouryon, as well as McKinsey & Co. More recently he has also worked with several investment banks, venture capitalists, and private equity houses. Peter’s operational experience goes commodity, specialty, and consumer-oriented chemical markets for example Biotechnology, Inorganic Chemicals, Catalysis, and Adhesives).

Currently, Peter is supporting clients with business strategies (for single and portfolios of businesses), creating growth (both organic and M&A), realizing organizational change, Commercial Excellence (traditional and digital), and integrating Sustainability into vision, strategy, and everyday business.
