Cheryl is a lawyer with over 20 years of experience in the development finance industry. After law school at Georgetown, Cheryl successfully transitioned from her commercial transactions work in New York City to help businesses and nonprofits close complex financing transactions and access government incentive programs at McAfee and Taft in Oklahoma City, OK., With over $4B USD in development finance transactions experience, Cheryl saw an opportunity to advise and assist in a more holistic way,  particularly in rural and low-income communities. She and her husband, Joe started Forked Pine Consulting, Inc. to offer a range of services to help clients access various programs, including New Markets Tax Credit, Property Assessed Clean Energy Loans, Tax Increment Finance, Historic Tax Credits, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
