Tracey has a successful history of leading exploration teams into new venture areas for identifying and developing energy prospect targets. He brings to the energy sector direct experience with horizontal conception plays within the San Juan Basin, Marcellus Shale, Eagleford Shale, and Austin Chalk. He has more than 35 years of oil and gas exploration experience in 16 states spanning basins in California, the Rocky Mountains, Mid Continent, the Permian Basin, East / SW Texas, and the Appalachian Basin. Tracey’s experience includes high-level mapping for target areas and leasing from initial prospect drilling through operations and into production. His experience also includes core analysis, petrophysical, and 3D seismic interpretation as well as developmental drilling programs, exploration frontiers, acquisitions, due diligence, wellsite coordination, project management, logistics, data analysis, safety coordination, vendor review – coordination, permitting, and owner relations.
