Biomass Feedstock Logistics/Supply, Bio-Project Development, Environmental Permitting, Site Infrastructure, Sustainability Plans
Bob has developed deep expertise in biomass sourcing and logistics strategy over his 30-year career, much of it as an independent consultant. He brings hands-on experience mapping feedstock supply chains and characterizing woody waste streams for recovery and reuse. He has been instrumental in preparing emissions analyses and landfill diversion reports that support both project funding and regulatory approvals. In addition to authoring white papers, Bob has produced sustainability plans for clients across the public and private sectors.
While with Ecostrat, he played a key role in drafting BDO Zone documentation and biomass volume reports used by developers and investors to evaluate site viability. He has successfully navigated complex permitting pathways involving the EPA, ADEQ, and Tribal authorities, bringing a practical understanding of infrastructure siting, phased project development, and regulatory compliance. His work is also grounded in strong stakeholder engagement—building relationships and momentum that help projects move from concept to implementation. He holds multiple degrees in both Marketing and Economics from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Contact Robert.
