Brad received his B.S. in Journalism and his B.A. in Latin American Studies at the University of Kansas in 1989. Brad has over 20 years of experience covering the energy industry. At Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), Brad spent two decades at the helm of intermediate refinery feedstocks spot market coverage, with millions of dollars of feedstocks transactions getting pegged to OPIS assessments each month. Brad also utilized his fluency in Portuguese and familiarity with Latin America to become OPIS’s sole editor specializing in Brazil’s ethanol industry and Brazil’s RenovaBio program to promote the use of renewable fuels. Brad also expanded OPIS’s coverage of Mexico’s LPG market to look at Canada-to-Mexico arbitrage opportunities in addition to U.S. (Mont Belvieu)-to-Mexico arbitrage economics.  Contact Brad.
