Andres holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Universidad del Rosario and a Master’s degree in Innovation Management in Bioindustries from AgroParisTech University. His professional journey commenced in Australia, where he delved into agricultural production. Over the years, he honed his expertise in cultivating raw materials like soybeans, corn, and wheat as an agronomist engineer for Jaguary S.R.L in Argentina.
Subsequently, Andres transitioned to another division within Jaguary, assuming responsibility for the industrialization of olive oil and spearheading a project focused on dried fruits and nuts production. His pursuit of knowledge led him to France, where he pursued his Master’s degree and joined a Bioeconomy Cluster. In this role, he plays a crucial part in providing consulting services in areas like Bioenergies and Biofeedstocks.
In his previous position at the company, Andres actively contributed to establishing European projects, forming consortia to secure public funding for innovative technologies within the bioeconomy value chains, spanning biomaterials, biomolecules, food, and feed ingredients, and more.
