DESCRIPTION: Business & Industry Loan Guarantee Program offers loan guarantees up to $25 million to support rural businesses. The purpose of the program is to improve, develop, or finance business, industry, and employment and improve the economic and environmental climate in rural communities; the conservation, development, and use of water for aquaculture purposes; and reducing reliance on non-renewable energy resources through development and construction renewable energy systems.
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: For-Profit Businesses; Nonprofits; Cooperatives; Federally-Recognized Tribe; Public Bodies.
AVAILABLE FUNDING AND APPLICATION WINDOW: Applications are received year-round. The amount of FY 2021 funding has not been announced at this time.
