David has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and over 25 years’ experience in industrial biotechnology engineering and operations with large multinational corporations and small startups. He has worked with organisms including bacterial, yeast, fungal and protozoan hosts, and has proven experience in continuous improvement and process optimization using statistical techniques such as design of experiments, evolutionary operations, and response surface modeling. David also has expertise in aseptic equipment design and is an instructor in ASME BPE. He has scale up experience on more than fifty processes, including both lab-to-pilot and pilot-to-commercial scale in a wide range of fermenter volumes.  Contact David.
