David has 35 years of senior executive finance experience across Asia, the Pacific, and Australia, structuring, arranging, and advising clients on over 100 complex financings, including project, corporate, mezzanine, equity, hedging, multilateral bank, and export credit transactions. He worked most recently for the Asian Development Bank, launching and managing a highly successful $1.5 billion infrastructure co-investment fund, as well as re-initiating ADB’s private sector financing activities in the Pacific region.

He has started up and led project and export finance teams for Australian and international banks, funding projects in the renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, and oil & gas sectors across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to renewable energy and infrastructure, David has particular expertise in financing mining and minerals projects, from developing and leading the mining finance team covering Australia and Asia for merchant bank NM Rothschild & Sons.
