Dr. Saurav Bhattacharjee is a chemical engineer. He obtained his Ph.D. from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, and is a pioneer in the field of sustainable aviation fuel production and has published several research papers in the area. Saurav is also an expert in heterogeneous catalysis synthesis, catalyst characterization, understanding catalysis mechanisms and regeneration, supercritical fluid technology, and high-pressure/high-temperature reactions involving hydrogen. Throughout his research career, Saurav has combined the principles of green chemistry, reaction engineering, and catalysis to help several Asia-Pacific organizations achieve their sustainability and net zero targets. Another research domain that Saurav has met with well-documented success is engineering biodegradable plastics in a greener yet cost-efficient manner. Saurav is associated with semiconductor giant Micron Technology as an advanced development technology dry etch senior engineer. Before his current position, Saurav was working as a senior gas engineer, responsible for innovation in the facility gas systems at Micron Taiwan. Contact Saurav.
